Our grants support the creation of new woodlands, hedgerow and landscape trees in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Forest of Bowland National Landscape and Nidderdale National Landscape. Applications from outside this area will also be considered if they meet funding criteria.
None of our work would be possible without support from businesses of all shapes and sizes who play a huge role in helping us deliver big things for people, landscape and wildlife.

A rural apprenticeship is a work-based training programme that gives young people the chance to develop their skills and get experience with employers in and around the Yorkshire Dales, Cumbria and Nidderdale. Not only does the scheme help local young people to get on the career ladder, it invests in their education and personal development too.
Toolkits and educational videos to help inspire children to explore the Dales, educate them on wildlife and the surrounding landscapes and to live their own Green Futures.
Green Futures, helps to tackle the inequalities that make it hard for young people to access and enjoy the countryside, and brings them together to take action for nature.
